American Muscle Car Museum, Transport museum in Melbourne, Florida.
The American Muscle Car Museum is a private transport museum in Melbourne, Florida, dedicated to American high-performance cars from the 1950s onward. The building houses both a large exhibition floor and restoration facilities, bringing together cars from many different American manufacturers under one roof.
Mark Pieloch started collecting cars in 1974, and after decades of building his collection, he opened the museum to the public in 2016. The cars on display cover a broad stretch of American automotive history, from postwar models through the golden era of the muscle car.
The collection includes 29 Yenko cars, representing every model produced, making it the largest assembly of these specific vehicles in a single location.
The museum does not operate as a regular walk-in attraction, so it is best to contact them in advance to ask about group visits or scheduled tours. Once inside, plan for a long visit, as the collection covers a wide range of vehicles spread across a large space.
The collection holds every Yenko model ever made, gathered in one place, which is something found nowhere else in the world. Alongside the cars, the museum also keeps a group of working vintage tractors, a detail that tends to catch visitors off guard.
