The Chadwick, Georgian Revival apartment building in Indianapolis, United States
The Chadwick is a three-story residential building located on North Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis. Its facade features buff brick construction with limestone accents and Tuscan columns that frame the main entrance.
The building was constructed in 1925 as part of downtown Indianapolis residential development. It appeared on the National Register of Historic Places from 1983 until a major fire in January 2011 caused extensive damage that led to its removal from the registry.
The building represented a significant example of residential architecture within the Apartments and Flats of Downtown Indianapolis collection.
The building is situated in downtown Indianapolis and is easily accessible on foot from other nearby attractions. Its location on North Pennsylvania Street makes it straightforward to find as part of a walking tour through the historic downtown area.
