The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience spans 58,500 square feet across two levels featuring fifteen permanent galleries and two rotating exhibition spaces.
Opening in 2018 during Mississippi's bicentennial celebration, this 50 million dollar museum documents artistic achievements across multiple creative disciplines.
The museum exhibits revolve around six central themes: Land, Community, Home, Church, People + Places, and Global Community, showcasing Mississippi's artistic influences.
The facility includes a recording studio, painting spaces, ceramics workshop, museum store, outdoor amphitheater, second-floor terrace, and accessible courtyard.
A Hollywood-style Walk of Fame connects the museum to the Mississippi State University Riley Center, featuring stars dedicated to Elvis Presley and B.B. King.
