The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience (The MAX) is a two-level contemporary art museum in downtown Meridian, Mississippi, with 58,500 square feet of space. LPK Architects of Meridian designed the building and Gallagher & Associates designed the exhibits, which fill 15 permanent galleries and two changing-exhibit spaces. The site also holds a recording studio, 2D and 3D art studios, a Hall of Fame, an outdoor amphitheater, a second-floor terrace and a courtyard.

The MAX opened on April 28, 2018, during Mississippi's bicentennial celebration, in a two-level building of 58,500 square feet. Meridian firm LPK Architects planned the structure and Gallagher & Associates designed the exhibits. The $50 million institution was created to honor Mississippi artists and entertainers through interactive galleries.

The exhibits are grouped under six themes: Land, Community, Home, Church, People + Places, and Global Community. Across 15 permanent galleries, audio and video stories explain how Mississippians shaped arts and the creative economy worldwide. A Hall of Fame honours figures such as Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers, B.B. King and William Faulkner.

The MAX occupies a two-level building of 58,500 square feet, with 15 permanent galleries grouped under six themes plus two changing-exhibit spaces. The second-floor terrace and the courtyard are outdoor spots within the complex. The Walk of Fame runs from the nearby Mississippi State University Riley Center to the museum site.

The Hollywood-style Walk of Fame leading to the museum was unveiled in 2009, nine years before The MAX opened. Its stars honor Mississippi figures such as Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers, B.B. King, William Faulkner, Morgan Freeman, Walter Inglis Anderson, Hartley Peavey and Sela Ward.
