Riley Center

The Riley Center is an opera house in downtown Meridian spanning four floors within a late Victorian structure. The building features ornate painted details and a mansard roof, housing two performance venues of different capacities.

Built in 1890, the building opened with an operetta performance by a visiting company from New York. It has remained part of the local cultural landscape and was designated as a National Register historic property.

The center hosts a range of performances throughout the year, from theatrical productions to concerts and educational programs. The community gathers here for artistic experiences in two performance spaces of different sizes.
