Fortress Obetz, Sports and entertainment venue in Obetz, United States

The Fortress Obetz is a multipurpose event complex with a grandstand structure capable of accommodating several thousand spectators for concerts, sporting events, and other gatherings. The facility includes support buildings for operations, digital scoreboards, and technical infrastructure spread across its grounds to handle diverse events.

Obetz bought the Columbus Motor Speedway in September 2016 and built Fortress Obetz on the site, a 50-acre project costing $15 million that was finished in autumn 2017. The first event was the Ohio Machine's home lacrosse game against the Rochester Rattlers on May 6, 2017. On August 31, 2017, Hamilton Township and Groveport Madison played football there, their first meeting in over 50 years.

The Obetz Zucchinifest, held at the venue since its first year, brings a car show and the Famous Fortress Fireworks. The Obetz Bowl high school football game has been played here annually since 2017, and the 2017 Hamilton Township–Groveport Madison game was the districts' first football meeting in over 50 years. Concerts have featured Third Eye Blind, T-Pain and Scotty McCreery.

The 50-acre site lies along Obetz's southern edge, with parking on the grounds and ten natural grass fields beside the stadium. Events are spread across the grandstand, courtyard and lawn seating, so expect to walk between areas. The synthetic turf field meets World Rugby Regulation 22 and FIFA 2 Star standards.

Fortress Obetz was assembled from 122 shipping containers by Falcon Structures of Manor, Texas, an example of modular construction. The containers form the venue's 18,000-square-foot Fortress building, which sits beside a 15,000-square-foot courtyard.
