Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was a role-playing hotel in Bay Lake, Florida, offering a multi-day space voyage experience set in the Star Wars universe. Windows displayed simulated space views while common areas and private cabins replicated the interior of a fictional spacecraft.
Disney opened this lodging in March 2022 following years of development work that began with guest surveys in 2017. The facility closed in September 2023 after operating for less than a year and a half.
Guests carried out everyday actions such as eating and sleeping within a continuously designed space environment. The spacecraft bore a name from Star Wars lore and visitors often wore special clothing to blend into the fictional setting.
The experience lasted two nights and included meals as well as access to activities throughout the day and night. Participants checked in at set times and followed a structured schedule until departure.
A mobile application allowed guests to choose between three different storylines linked to different factions within the Star Wars universe. This choice influenced which characters they encountered and which tasks they performed during their stay.
