جامع النبي شيت, Religious shrine in central Mosul, Iraq
The Mosque of Prophet Sheeth stands as a structure with grey stone walls and multiple prayer halls near the Tigris River in Mosul.
The mosque complex, constructed in the 14th century above the Quraysh cemetery, contained spaces for worship and religious education until 2014.
The mosque housed a shrine that local Muslims connected to Prophet Seth, recognized in Islamic traditions as the third son of Adam.
The building no longer functions as a religious center following its destruction during the 2014 military occupation of Mosul.
The location marked one of three claimed burial sites of Prophet Seth, with others in Lebanon and Palestine.
