KLFA Stadium, stadium in Malaysia
KLFA Stadium is a football stadium in Cheras, a district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, holding around 18,000 seats. The covered stands run along the sides of the grass pitch and offer clear views of the field from most seating positions.
The stadium hosted clubs such as Felda United and PDRM before closing in 2011. After a major renovation that ran from 2013 to 2018, it reopened and began welcoming matches and other sporting events again.
The stadium takes its name from the Kuala Lumpur Football Association and serves as the home ground of the club that shares that name. On match days, fans fill the stands in team colors, singing together while vendors outside sell food and drinks to arriving supporters.
The stadium is in Cheras and can be reached by public transport or by car, with parking available nearby. On match days, arriving early is a good idea as the area around the ground gets busy in the lead-up to kick-off.
Although the ground is known as a football venue, it has also hosted rugby matches, which is unusual for a dedicated football stadium in Malaysia. In 2019, it held the AFC Cup final, a continental-level game that brought international teams and supporters to Cheras.
