Crystal Mosque, Islamic mosque in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia

Built with steel, glass, and crystal elements, this mosque features nine large domes, fifty-one small domes, and four minarets along the Terengganu River.

The construction of the mosque took place from 2006 to 2008, when Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu inaugurated this religious structure.

The mosque combines Islamic and Mughal architectural elements while serving as a central gathering point for religious celebrations within the Islamic Heritage Park.

The mosque provides space for 1,500 worshippers and welcomes visitors who must follow dress codes and behavioral guidelines during their exploration.

The glass and crystal structure creates different visual effects throughout the day, with sunlight revealing golden reflections and evening illumination displaying color changes.
