Perak Stadium

Perak Stadium is a football venue in Ipoh with an FIFA-standard pitch and seating for about 42,500 spectators distributed across multiple levels. A running track runs around the perimeter of the playing surface.

The site was used as a detention facility during the Malayan Emergency from 1949 to 1959 before the stadium construction started in 1964. The location transformed from a military compound into a sports and community center over the following decades.

The stadium has been home to Perak FC for decades and serves as the main venue for regional football matches in Malaysia. It brings together fans from across the area who gather to support their team and experience local sports culture.
