The Pulau Sekati Bridge extends 1.58 kilometers across the Terengganu River, connecting the neighborhoods of Losong and Jeram Tokong in Kuala Terengganu.
The construction of this infrastructure project started in 2012 and reached completion in May 2017, with a total investment of 245 million Malaysian ringgit.
This bridge represents Malaysian engineering capabilities, designed by the Public Works Department to meet the transportation needs of Terengganu's capital city.
The bridge section from Losong to Pulau Sekati remains open for vehicle traffic, forming an essential part of the Kuala Terengganu Bypass network.
Pulau Sekati Bridge stands as the longest bridge structure in the state of Terengganu, surpassing the dimensions of the Sultan Mahmud Bridge.
