The two-story adobe building features a rectangular layout with blue wooden exterior stairs and elevated roof, representing 19th-century construction techniques.
From 1903 to 1907, the house served as home to future Nobel Prize winner Gabriela Mistral while she began her teaching career at age 14.
The residence marks the location where Gabriela Mistral initiated her literary journey, publishing her first poems and articles in regional newspapers.
