Museum Remigio Crespo Toral

Museum Remigio Crespo Toral is an art museum in Cuenca's historic center that occupies a brick building with two distinct facades. One side faces the street while the other overlooks riverside gardens, creating multiple perspectives of the building's design.

The building was constructed between 1910 and 1917 as the residence of Ecuadorian poet Remigio Crespo Toral. In 1967 it transitioned to a municipal museum, converting a private home into a public space for art and artifacts.
