Arboretum Lussich

Arboretum Lussich is a botanical garden on the coast near Maldonado that spreads across a large estate with walking paths connecting different sections. It features native and imported tree species arranged in distinct zones, allowing visitors to move through each area at their own pace.

An Italian collector founded this place in 1896 to transform the rocky coastal land into a forested area using seeds brought from different continents. His work created what had been barren rocky terrain into a thriving woodland.
