Juan B. Castagnino Fine Arts Museum

The museum building features two floors containing 35 exhibition rooms with 700 linear meters of display space at Oroño Boulevard and Pellegrini Avenue.

Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino donated the museum to the Municipality of Rosario in memory of her son Juan Bautista, opening its doors in December 1937.

The collection includes European art from the 15th to 20th centuries, Argentine art, and works by Rosario artists until the 1930s, totaling over 3,000 pieces.

The museum operates under municipal administration and provides public access through multiple bus lines including 120, 123, 125, 126, 127, 144, and 153.

In 2004, approximately 300 contemporary artworks from the museum were transferred to create the new Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario.
