Abismo Anhumas, Underwater cave in Brazil
Abismo Anhumas is an awe-inspiring subterranean cave featuring a large, crystal-clear lake.
The cave was discovered by accident in 1970 when a farmer stumbled upon it.
Despite its natural beauty, Abismo Anhumas is sacred to the local indigenous community.
Access to the cave is limited and visitors must rappel down 72 meters to reach the lake below.
The submerged cones inside the lake can reach up to 20 meters in height, a sight unseen anywhere else.
