The Olympic Golf Course (Campo Olímpico de Golfe) is an 18-hole public golf course on 970,000 m² inside the Marapendi Natural Reserve in Barra da Tijuca, reached from Avenida General Moisés Castelo Branco Filho. It has two artificial lakes and a clubhouse designed by Pedro Évora and Pedro Rivera of Rua Arquitetos, winners of a national competition.

The course was inaugurated on 22 November 2015 by Rio mayor Eduardo Paes, on 970,000 m² inside the Marapendi Natural Reserve. Its first event was the Aquece Rio Golf Challenge on 8 March 2016, a test event won by Miriam Nagl. During the 2016 Olympics, Justin Rose and Inbee Park won the men's and women's tournaments, golf's first Olympic appearance since 1904.

The clubhouse was chosen through a national competition run by Rio 2016 and the Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil, won by Pedro Évora and Pedro Rivera of the Rio office Rua Arquitetos. Since the Games, the course has hosted junior tournaments and introductory days for novice golfers, and it is now managed by the Confederação Brasileira de Golfe.

The course sits inside the Marapendi Natural Reserve and is reached via Avenida General Moisés Castelo Branco Filho, a branch off Avenida das Américas in Barra da Tijuca. It is managed by the Confederação Brasileira de Golfe and, since the Games, open to the public; introductory days are held for novice golfers.

In August 2016 the course received the Green Star Award from Golf Digest, given to courses that stand out for environmental protection. The clubhouse design was chosen in a national competition won by Pedro Évora and Pedro Rivera of the Rio office Rua Arquitetos.
