Massarandupió

Massarandupió is a nude beach on Brazil's Atlantic coast in Bahia, featuring two kilometers of sandy shore with tall coconut palms and dunes along its edges. The space is divided into sections to accommodate different visitor preferences and create separate zones within the same location.

The beach became established as a naturist destination starting in the late 1900s as this section of coast was set aside for this purpose. This transformation turned it into a recognized location where this lifestyle could be openly practiced.

The beach represents a place where body acceptance and freedom are central, drawing visitors from many backgrounds who share similar values. The atmosphere reflects a philosophy of respect and openness that shapes how people interact here.

The beach is located roughly 90 kilometers south of Salvador and provides parking, food kiosks, and basic facilities for visitors. Arriving early is helpful during weekends when the beach draws more people.

A small river cuts across the beach and flows into the Atlantic Ocean, creating natural pools where fresh and salt water meet. This water feature adds an unexpected layer of ecology to the usual sand and ocean setting.
