The venue serves as the home ground for Ferroviário Atlético Clube and represents a significant sports center in one of Fortaleza's traditional working-class neighborhoods.
The facility includes dedicated parking spaces, ticket offices, concession stands, bathrooms, and medical facilities to accommodate spectators during sporting events.
The stadium received recognition through official stadium postcards in 1990 and 1997, marking the only such releases for football clubs in Ceará.
