The Museum of Industry occupies a restored 19th-century building with over 2,000 square meters of space dedicated to exhibitions and cultural events.
The building served multiple purposes throughout its existence, including as the North Hotel, post office headquarters from 1895 to 1935, and The Ceará Tramway Light & Power Company.
The museum exhibits showcase five centuries of industrial development in Ceará, featuring machines, documents, and artifacts that tell the story of local manufacturing.
Visitors can schedule guided tours through exhibition spaces, access a research center with 800 cataloged titles, and use facilities for corporate events.
The museum contains an extensive collection documenting coffee production in Ceará, detailing its journey from Ethiopia to Brazil over 200 years ago.
