IIE MSA, University in South Africa
IIE MSA is a university in Johannesburg offering modern buildings with bright lecture halls, laboratories, and a library. The campus features sports fields, social spaces, and computer labs that students use between classes and while completing coursework.
The institution was founded in 2001 and was originally known as Monash South Africa before joining a larger education group in 2019 and taking its current name. This transition marked a significant shift in the institution's development as an independent academic institution.
The university draws students from many countries, creating a diverse community on campus. This mix of different cultures and perspectives shapes daily interactions and learning between students from various backgrounds.
The campus sits on Peter Road in Ruimsig, about a half-hour drive from Johannesburg city center and is easily accessible from two airports. Shuttle bus services and online maps help visitors and students navigate and move between locations.
The institution is still called IIE MSA by many people today, even though it was recently renamed to Emeris. This continued use of the older name shows how strongly the former identity remains embedded among students and in the local community.
