Cathedral of St Mary and All Saints, Harare, Anglican cathedral in Harare, Zimbabwe
The cathedral features a sandstone structure with pointed arches, a bell tower containing ten bells cast in London, and four dedicated chapels within.
Construction of the cathedral commenced in 1913 under architect Herbert Baker, with the sanctuary completed in 1914 and the entire structure finished by 1961.
The nave walls display fourteen murals depicting Jesus Christ during his crucifixion, painted in 1981 and presented at the Easter celebration.
The cathedral stands at the intersection of Nelson Mandela Avenue and Sam Nujoma Street, offering regular services and guided tours for visitors.
In 2012, the cathedral returned to the Church of the Province of Central Africa following a legal resolution with excommunicated bishop Nolbert Kunonga.
