Pagedangan

Pagedangan is an administrative district in Tangerang that comprises eleven subdivisions, including one town and ten rural villages spread across the area. The district functions as a local government center coordinating services and community affairs for its residents.

The district was created in 1999 through administrative reorganization when it separated from Legok district. This change established its independent governance structure within Tangerang Regency.

The district maintains traditional Indonesian administrative practices through a structured system of local leadership, with each village managing its community affairs.

The area is home to Gading Serpong, a major residential development known as Summarecon Serpong that brings modern housing within the district's boundaries. This project represents a blend of contemporary living alongside traditional governance.
