Al-Azhom Grand Mosque, Islamic worship center in Tangerang, Indonesia

Al-Azhom Grand Mosque is a congregational mosque in Tangerang, Banten, with a main dome 63 meters in diameter held up by four surrounding semi-circular domes, so the prayer hall needs no supporting columns. Its two-storey wing houses the Islamic Gallery, displaying paintings of Islamic history and the life of Muhammad, Islamic books, and a Quran in Arabic Braille. The complex also includes male and female ablution rooms, a mihrab, study rooms, a library, offices, and a large yard.

This mosque was developed in the 1990s as a major religious project for Tangerang's growing Islamic community. It took several years from initial planning to completion, becoming an important gathering place for worship.

The five domes stand for the five pillars of Islam. In a two-storey wing, the Galeri Islam displays paintings on Islamic history and the life of Muhammad, a collection of Islamic books, and a Qur'an in Arabic Braille. The courtyard hosts the annual Al-Azhom Festival, which in 2019 ran from 31 August to 12 September under the theme "Hijrah is Beautiful" with participants from four countries.

Visitors will find separate facilities for ritual ablution and spacious prayer areas designed to accommodate many worshippers comfortably. The site also offers libraries and study rooms available to those who visit.
