The Regatta Jakarta, Modern skyscraper complex in Pluit, Indonesia.
The Regatta Jakarta is a modern residential complex in Jakarta comprising eleven towers arranged around a central hotel structure. Each residential tower houses multiple apartments per floor, creating a large integrated urban development.
Construction began in 2009 under the architectural direction of WS Atkins, an international firm with experience in large-scale developments. The design drew inspiration from maritime themes connected to Jakarta's coastal location.
The residential towers are named after famous port cities like London, New York, Shanghai, and Dubai, creating a sense of connection to worldwide maritime trade and commerce. Walking through the complex, these names mark the different neighborhoods and give the place an international character.
The complex is pedestrian-friendly with pathways connecting the various towers throughout the site. An aqua park located within the grounds provides recreational facilities easily accessible from residential areas.
The towers are positioned in a compass pattern, with the central 163-meter hotel tower designed to resemble a lighthouse at the center. The surrounding residential structures echo the shape of sailing ships, creating a maritime landscape.
