Greenhills Adventure Park, Recreational facility in Victor Harbor, South Australia.
Greenhills Adventure Park was a recreational facility spanning ten hectares with more than twenty attractions. Visitors could enjoy go-karts, waterslides, a golf course, archery ranges, and a 50-meter dry slide.
The facility opened in 1982 and operated for more than three decades before financial pressures led to its closure in 2016. Rising costs eventually made it impossible to continue running the various attractions.
The park served as a gathering place for families seeking multiple entertainment options in one location. Its colorful designs and range of activities made it a recognizable landmark in the local community for decades.
The site was easily accessible from Victor Harbor and provided space to experience numerous attractions in a single location. Visitors could spend most of their day trying different activities at their own pace.
When the park closed, its equipment and memorabilia were sold off at an auction in 2016, allowing visitors and collectors to take home pieces of their memories. Items ranged from small vintage toys to large recreational equipment from the attractions.
