The original venue operated from 1977 until 1991 when a fire destroyed the building. After reconstruction and a period operating under a different name, the location reopened in 2018 as Bombay Rock once more.

Live original music performances happen regularly on Friday and Saturday evenings. Between sets, visitors can relax by playing pool or trying the arcade games available on site.
The building retained its original 19th-century facade even after being destroyed by fire in 1991. This continuation of the classic exterior connects the place's past with its present-day function as a live music space.
