Brunswick Town Hall, Municipal building in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia

Brunswick Town Hall is a municipal building in Brunswick, Victoria, located at the corner of Sydney Road and Dawson Street. Constructed in 1876 in Second Empire style, it features a moveable stage floor, air conditioning, and an on-site art gallery.

The first municipal chambers were established in 1859 on Sydney Road at Lobb's Hill. The current structure replaced that earlier building and opened in 1876 as the new administrative center for the growing community.

The building serves as a gathering place for artists and music lovers who come here regularly throughout the year. Its spaces host exhibitions and performances, giving it a vital role in the local creative community.

The hall accommodates around 350 visitors and features air conditioning for comfort during events. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and includes an on-site kitchen, making it suitable for various types of gatherings.

The stage floor features a mechanical system that can be raised by about 8 inches (20 centimeters) from its normal position. This adjustable feature makes the stage flexible for different types of performances and artistic needs.
