Weston Creek

Weston Creek is a residential district comprising eight suburbs that spread across a valley southwest of Canberra's city center. The area forms a unified neighborhood with its own local services and shopping facilities.

The district was officially established in 1966 when residential development began with Waramanga and Fisher as the first suburbs. These early neighborhoods formed the foundation for the area's later expansion.

Mount Taylor rises prominently above the valley floor and serves as a natural boundary that shapes how the district looks from many angles. This geological feature creates an unexpected vertical accent in the otherwise flat residential landscape.
