Noccundra Hotel

Noccundra Hotel is a sandstone building with corrugated iron roof and a timber veranda, situated beside a waterhole on the Wilson River. The property contains accommodation in separate Donga structures with double and single rooms, plus powered caravan and camping sites on the grounds.

The building was constructed in 1882 using materials brought by camel train and received its first operating license in 1886 under proprietor James Gardiner. This early period established it as a vital supply point in the remote Outback region.
