Cameron Corner, Territorial tripoint and survey marker in Australian outback.

Cameron Corner marks the exact point where three Australian states converge, indicated by a boundary marker located at 141 degrees east and 29 degrees south. The site sits at an elevation of 112 meters within the remote Australian outback landscape.

John Brewer Cameron completed the border survey between Queensland and New South Wales in 1880, placing a wooden post inscribed with latitude coordinates at the location. This survey established the foundation for the current three-way boundary.

The Corner Store, established in 1989, serves as a meeting place for travelers from three states, offering food, lodging, and supplies. This modest shop functions as a social hub in this remote region.

Access to the location requires traveling on unsealed roads, so bring adequate water, tools, and spare tires for the journey. Preparing for remote outback driving is essential to reach the site safely.

Visitors can celebrate New Year's Eve three times at this location due to the different time zones of the three adjacent states. This temporal quirk makes the place an unusual destination for holiday celebrations.
