The Artspace Sydney occupies the Gunnery Building, featuring expansive exhibition spaces that present twelve to fifteen gallery exhibitions throughout the year.
Founded in 1983, the art center has transformed the historic Gunnery Building into a leading platform for contemporary art in New South Wales.
The gallery supports artistic development through thirty annual residencies, connecting Australian creators with international artists through collaborative programs and partnerships.
Located near Sydney Harbor, the gallery welcomes visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission to regular exhibitions.
The center maintains an open studio program where visitors can interact directly with artists during their creative process.
