Westpac Place

Westpac Place reaches 166 meters in height with 33 floors, featuring a distinctive roof component that incorporates an integrated weather beacon barometer system.

The building site held significance in Sydney's maritime trade during the late 18th and early 19th centuries when it marked the harbor's edge location.

Richard Johnson from Johnson Pilton Walker designed this structure with metal-clad base elements and an internally illuminated white glass tower extending 25 meters upward.

Located at 275 Kent Street, the facility includes a lobby café, innovation spaces, bike storage, showers, reflection rooms, and dedicated areas for parent needs.

Eight LED illuminated bars on the weather beacon display real-time barometric pressure changes, regulated by a roof-mounted photosensor that adjusts brightness levels.
