Wollemi National Park

The park spans across 5,000 square kilometers of deep canyons, sandstone cliffs, and dense rainforests within the Greater Blue Mountains region.
Established in 1979, the national park gained international recognition in 2016 when UNESCO included it in the World Heritage List for natural values.
The landscape contains numerous Aboriginal sites and artifacts that demonstrate the continuous connection of Indigenous communities with this territory.
Visitors can access multiple hiking trails, camping areas, and observation points through designated entrances located 129 kilometers northwest of Sydney.
Scientists discovered the Wollemi Pine in 1994 within the park's boundaries, revealing a species that existed during the time of dinosaurs.
