Tocal Homestead, Heritage-listed homestead in Paterson, New South Wales, Australia
The stone homestead features two floors with verandahs that face the Paterson River, surrounded by agricultural buildings and historic stockyards.
The land was granted in 1822 to J.P. Webber, who established a productive farm using convict labor to clear 1,600 hectares of fertile land.
The name Tocal comes from the Koori language of the Gringai Clan of the Wonnerau people, who used this location as their traditional campsite.
The property contains the C.B. Alexander College, which operates as an agricultural education center within the 2,500-hectare Tocal Agricultural Centre.
The 1867 stone barn on the property was designed by Edmund Blacket and constructed using convict labor, maintaining its original structure.
