Darling Downs Zoo is a wildlife park in the Toowoomba Region housing over 100 species in naturalistic habitats. Animals from Africa, South America, Southeast Asia, and Australia live across multiple spacious areas.

Darling Downs Zoo closed from 27 March to 9 June 2020 under COVID-19 restrictions; with large carnivores to feed, it relied on bank loans, donations and a crowdfunding page to cover costs before reopening. On 6 July 2025 a woman was severely injured in the arm when a lion attacked her at the zoo.

The zoo serves the community as a place where visitors learn directly from caretakers about animal behavior and habitat needs through daily demonstrations. These sessions connect guests to wildlife from different parts of the world and show how each species fits into its environment.

The zoo is in Pilton, Queensland, in the Toowoomba Region. It is divided into four separate geographical areas covering Africa, South America, South-East Asia and Australia, so allow time to walk between them. The site closed from 27 March to 9 June 2020 under COVID-19 restrictions and has since reopened.
