Mount Mageik

Mount Mageik is a stratovolcano in Katmai National Park in Alaska, rising to about 7,100 feet in elevation. The volcano has multiple summit peaks covered by glacial ice, and its crater contains a lake.

The volcano was involved in the major Katmai eruption of 1912, when two significant debris avalanches occurred. These events shaped the geology of the surrounding valleys and reshaped the mountain's flank.
