Arena Sonora

Arena Sonora is a multipurpose hall with approximately 3,500 seats located in central Hermosillo. The facility features modern courts, dressing rooms, and spectator areas that were upgraded during a comprehensive renovation.

The facility first opened on December 31, 1969 as Gimnasio del Estado and has served the city for decades. A major renovation in 2019 modernized the infrastructure to meet contemporary standards.

The venue is home to the Rayos de Hermosillo basketball team and regularly hosts boxing matches, volleyball tournaments, and wrestling events for the local community. It serves as a gathering place where residents experience live sports and entertainment.
