Templo de San Agustín, Catholic temple in central Durango, Mexico.
The temple features a two-level baroque main facade with simple column decorations and a neogothic interior design with religious statues.
Founded by Bishop Gonzalo de Hermosillo between 1621 and 1631, the temple underwent major renovations during the 19th century with additions by stonemason Benigno Montoya.
The temple organizes the Way of the Cross procession during Holy Week, coordinated by the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth.
Located at the intersection of 20 de Noviembre Avenue and Hidalgo Street, the temple welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The side portal displays intricate decorations featuring angels and an eagle, while the main altar exhibits detailed filigree work in neogothic style.
