Wallis Annenberg Building

The Wallis Annenberg Building is a modern event and exhibition space at the California Science Center with distinctive indoor and outdoor areas. The complex features a bamboo grove, pond, reflective pools, and an outdoor terrace that blend natural elements into the urban setting.

The structure was originally built in 1912 as a military armory for the 160th Regiment and served defense purposes for decades. It later hosted fencing events during the 1932 Summer Olympics before being repurposed as a science education facility.
