El Rey Theatre

El Rey Theatre is a music venue in the Miracle Mile neighborhood featuring art deco design with a main auditorium holding around 771 seats plus a VIP balcony section. The building combines zigzag and streamline moderne elements throughout its interior.

The building opened in 1936 as a single-screen cinema and operated as a movie theater for around 50 years. During the 1980s it transformed into a dance club called Wall Street before becoming the music venue it is today.

The venue takes its name from a historical figure and functions today as a dedicated music hall hosting live performances. Visitors experience the energy of concerts in this established event space that has become an important gathering place for music fans.
