The E. Clem Wilson Building is an Art Deco skyscraper clad in limestone that rises 13 stories along Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. Geometric forms and multiple setbacks at different heights create accessible terraces, while its steel frame and concrete slabs allow flexible configurations for office spaces.

Meyer & Holler designed this commercial structure in 1929 during a period of rapid urban growth and architectural innovation in Los Angeles. Its Art Deco style reflects the modernist aesthetic that defined the city's development during that decade.

The building's upper floors stood in for the Daily Planet newspaper office in the first season of Adventures of Superman, the 1950s television series starring George Reeves. Its setbacks and limestone cladding gave the fictional paper a recognizable headquarters. The blue sign space later carried the names Mutual of Omaha, Asahi Breweries and Samsung.

The building occupies the northeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, and its upper floors and blank blue sign are best seen from the opposite side of Wilshire. It is a working office building managed by VisionQuest Ventures, so the lobby and upper floors are not open to visitors; the exterior is viewed from the public sidewalk.

The building changed hands multiple times and carried different corporate names on its facade, from Mutual of Omaha to Samsung. These shifts in signage reveal how the commercial identity and use of the structure evolved across decades.
