Chula Vista Bay Front Park lies on San Diego Bay in San Diego County, California, about 4 metres above sea level and roughly 11.7 km south of downtown San Diego. The surrounding land is flat, with San Miguel Mountain rising 780 metres about 17.8 km to the southwest. The bayfront climate averages around 20 °C, with July highs near 27 °C and December lows near 13 °C, and annual rainfall of about 217 millimetres.
