Jessie's Critter Carousel

Jessie's Critter Carousel is a mechanical ride at Disney California Adventure featuring detailed animal figures decorated with colorful patterns and ornaments throughout. The rotating platform offers different seating options for riders of varying heights.

The ride opened in 2019 as part of the Pixar Pier renovation, replacing King Triton's Carousel that had operated at the same location since 2001. This change reflected the park's shift toward celebrating Pixar's franchises.

The ride features characters from Pixar's Toy Story, drawing in visitors of all ages who recognize the familiar characters and stories. Children especially enjoy spotting the creatures they know from the movies.

Children of different heights can ride when accompanied by adults, with safety belts and stationary seating available for young ones. The seating is close together so families can stay near each other during the ride.

The animal figures on the ride are decorated with bandanas and saddles that echo Jessie's cowgirl background. These details bring the Old West theme to life through each creature.
