Fiesta Mall, former shopping center in Mesa, Arizona
Fiesta Mall was a shopping center in Mesa, Arizona that opened in 1979 and served the community for several decades across approximately 80 acres. The facility has since closed and is being demolished to make way for a mixed-use residential neighborhood development.
The shopping center opened in fall 1979 and became a popular gathering place for families and visitors in the region. It gradually declined in activity, sat vacant starting in 2019, and is now being demolished to make way for redevelopment.
The site is currently not accessible to visitors as demolition work is underway. Anyone interested in learning about the planned new project and future developments can contact the Fiesta Redefined team for information.
Many of the original palm trees from the shopping center are being preserved and replanted in the new development. Concrete and other materials from demolition are also being recycled for use in future construction projects on the site.
