The Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral is a modern Catholic church in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, built from 1977 to 1979. Its roof takes the form of a truncated prism, topped by a large cross. Inside stands a retablo 12 metres long and 7 metres high, weighing 2.5 tonnes and made of 30 pieces of marble images with gold and bronze leaf decoration.

Construction of the cathedral began in 1977 under Miguel González Ibarra, bishop of the Diocese of Ciudad Obregón, to replace the previous cathedral. Works concluded in 1979, when the finished building was consecrated and dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, making it one of Mexico's most recent cathedrals.

The interior holds a retablo 12 metres long and 7 metres high, weighing 2.5 tonnes and made of 30 pieces of images carved in marble with gold-leaf and bronze decorations. The cathedral is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the devotion that gives the church its name.
