Arví Park

The ecological park extends across 16,000 hectares of land, containing 1,760 hectares of natural forests and 54 miles of walking trails at 2,409 meters elevation.

Archaeological investigations in the park revealed numerous pre-Hispanic structures, including a 1,500-year-old trail known as Camino Cieza de León with preserved sections.

Local vendors at the outdoor market near the cable car station offer traditional Colombian dishes and handcrafted products from the Antioquia region.

Visitors reach the park through Line L of the Medellín Metro system, which connects to a dedicated tourist cable car providing direct access to the main entrance.

The park development increased green space per Medellín resident from 4 to 12 square meters through investments from regional agencies and private companies.
