Teatro Libre de Bogotá

Teatro Libre de Bogotá is a theatre company operating two venues across the city. The main stage in La Candelaria seats around 200 people, while the second location in Chapinero holds more than 600 spectators for larger productions.

The company was founded in 1973 by three theatre practitioners who started as a drama group at the University of Los Andes. Over time it grew into a major performance venue with two spaces serving the city's theatre audiences.
