Reforma 115, Office building in Lomas de Chapultepec, Mexico.
Reforma 115 is an office building in Lomas de Chapultepec featuring 27 stories that rise 120 meters with a glass exterior. The double-layered facade system reduces energy consumption while controlling sound from the busy street below.
Construction took place from 2002 to 2005 during a time of major urban renewal throughout Mexico City. Its completion marked the modernization of the business corridor along Paseo de la Reforma.
The structure reflects contemporary Mexican design practice, combining local architectural vision with global building standards that shaped the business district. The facade and interior layout demonstrate how commercial spaces have evolved to meet modern workplace expectations in the city.
The building has 10 high-speed elevators and parking across 10 underground levels for visitors with cars. Direct connection to the Paseo de la Reforma transportation network makes it easy to reach public transit options.
The foundation includes 20 shock absorbers and concrete pilings extending 25 meters deep, engineered to absorb seismic energy. This system allows the structure to remain stable during powerful earthquakes that frequently affect the region.
