Leonard E. Merrell Center

Leonard E. Merrell Center is a multipurpose facility in Katy with modern amenities and a large arena floor for various events. The main hall holds about 7,200 visitors and includes specialized spaces for concerts, sports competitions, trade shows, and professional conferences.

This facility opened in 2005 through a partnership between the City of Katy and a development authority. The collaboration used funds from a special tax zone to create a new community center.
